The JSC publishes companies licensed to perform activities in foreign-exchange markets, with distinct permissions such as brokerage for others, dealing, introducing, advisory, and investment management. The retrieved foreign-exchange list is dated June 2022. Confirm current status directly with JSC; an introducing-broker permission is not the same as dealing or holding client assets.

Israel’s government identifies the ISA as responsible for protecting the investing public, supervising the mutual-fund sector, monitoring corporate reporting, and related securities oversight. The official government authority page verifies the mandate, not a broker’s trading-platform license. Locate the relevant ISA permission before relying on an ISA claim.

The GFSC regulated-entities register separates investment dealers and managers from DLT providers, payments firms, tied agents, and other categories. A DLT-provider or payments entry is not interchangeable with investment-dealer authorization. GFSC advises contacting it when the relevant firm cannot be found.

DFS supervision can involve chartering, licensing, registration, filings, and examinations. Its official directory distinguishes banks, trusts, money transmitters, virtual-currency businesses, and other institutions. New York virtual-currency or money-transmitter authority does not establish SEC broker-dealer registration, FINRA membership, or protection for every crypto asset.

FinCEN’s MSB registration site lists money-services businesses registered under Bank Secrecy Act rules. The site reproduces information supplied by registrants. FinCEN explicitly says inclusion is not a recommendation, certification of legitimacy, or government endorsement. It does not authorize a firm to offer securities or leveraged trading.

FDIC insurance concerns eligible deposits at insured banks. The BankFind directory helps identify the bank; a broker’s mention of FDIC often relates to bank deposits or a cash-sweep arrangement rather than its investment products. Verify the actual receiving bank, deposit ownership category, aggregation of other deposits, and any pass-through conditions. A brokerage brand is not itself proof that every balance is insured.

DNB’s public register distinguishes licensed, registered, and exempt institutions. DNB and the AFM share Dutch financial-supervision responsibilities. A European passport, branch, exemption, or registration is not the same as a domestic banking or investment-service license. The register itself warns that supervision is not a guarantee.

The Bundesbank describes German banking supervision as cooperation with BaFin and, within the Single Supervisory Mechanism, the European Central Bank. A reference to Bundesbank supervision should be read together with the bank’s BaFin/ECB status. It is not a separate worldwide broker license covering every group affiliate.

Banca d’Italia publishes supervisory registers and lists for banks and financial intermediaries, including registration details and historical information. Its source also identifies lists maintained only for statistical purposes. Check the specific statutory category, and check Consob requirements separately where investment conduct is relevant.

The Bulgarian FSC’s investor guidance explains how to identify licensed investment intermediaries and distinguish local permission from cross-border arrangements. A non-EU license does not by itself authorize services in Bulgaria. Check the legal entity, relevant register category, and any licensed branch or passporting basis.

CNBV describes its PES directory as information on operating entities supervised in the Mexican financial system. Its official guidance separates this directory from the search for entities authorized to take deposits. A supervised-entity listing must be read with its sector and permitted activities. Securities brokerage and deposit-taking authorization are not interchangeable.

Brazil’s official CVM participant-consultation service provides registration and record information for participants in the securities market. Check the participant type and current status. A CVM record should not be confused with a Banco Central banking permission, an exchange membership, or permission for every offshore product.
